Obviously, escalator is a conveniet equipment of transportation in our life, it brings us from one floor to the next whitout having to climb stairs or wait for an elevator. Now, it is widely used in our society, from supermarket to shopping mall, even some office buildings are now begin to apply Elevator . However, as an old saying goes, every coin has two sies, although escalator brings much convenience to us, there still exist disadvantages of it. We konw, if act inapropriate when riding a escalator, we may get hurt, and news of these kinds of accidents occured commonly. Especially for children who can not behave themselves properly sometimes, escalator is a great threat to them. Every year, coutless children were injuried on escalators in shopping malls, airports, and supermarkets, etc...

Well, a mojority of injuries were caused while the child was not holding his/her parent’s hand. And if running, walking, or sitting on the stairs when riding a escalator, it is more likely let the accident happened. And children should not be allowed to run or jump on the staris, ride on the handrails when on a escalator.
